Sustainability

People across campus are working on many fronts to make Cal State Monterey Bay a more sustainable university. We're marshaling our collective creativity to plan, organize and execute new ways to live greener. Here are just a few examples of what we're doing:

• We're utilizing solar energy.
• Through infrastructure changes and careful monitoring, we've reduced our energy consumption by 20 percent.
• Issues surrounding sustainability are addressed in many classes.
• We've got a robust alternative transportation program in place, and it's always expanding.
